"It's fine so far and I suppose the usual." She returned, heading into the crowd. She easily manuvered through the surrounding bodies, sliding effortlessly through the door before heading to their secluded table. At least that's what it felt like, visitors rarely ever appearing. She wasn't bothered by it though, and rather perferred it, now sitting across from Caliban. She crossed her long legs, purposely supplying her back to the mess of people behind her.

He followed her and sat down, watching the people behind him. He hated the lunch hour but he had to come. He looked around, his eyes slowly going back to their amethyst color. He waited to see if they would have a visitor today or not. He was also wondering if Rosalie would be joining them.

Bella went through the lunch line without talking to anyone. No one knew her but as the cheif's daughter, even at that they didn't talk to her. She paid her due and wonder aimlessly through the cafeteria to find an open sit. The only one she saw was by a group of people who looked as if they sucluded themselves. That and an empty lunch table. She decided it best if she didn't go and sit with people that everyone else avoided. She walked over to the empty table and sat down on the far end. No one talked to her, only starred. She hated it when people did that to her. She slowly ate her lunch without paying anyone else any attention.

Briar sighed, glancing at Cal. She read his face, even though blank and decided to answer his wondering. "Rose decided to eat elsewhere," She yawned, covering her mouth with a hand to hide any fang. She quickly scanned the perimeter, unmeaningful faces paying attention elsewhere. "Not that I blame her." She knew he would get the real meaning behind the small talk, that their sister was off hunting for the day. She, and Caliban as well, would need to go soon. Her gaze passed over his again, noting their constant flickerings to and fro. Him especially. He seemed more distracted than usual, and she was slowly beginning to question why.

He nodded, understanding what Briar's words meant. He let out a slow growl escape as SHE came into view again and the smell hit him full on. His eyes turned back to black and dilated. He closed his mouth as fangs started to grow and the tendons in his hands pulled taut. He grimaced before looking back at Briar from under his bangs.

Briar raised an eyebrow to his sudden reaction. Her eyes followed his brief gaze, taking notice of the girl from earlier on. She had been right and now knew the cause behind his irregular behavior. She refocused back to his blackened orbs, the corner of her mouth hinting an amused smirk.
"Better than the other," She said, mentioning their prior problem with Melody."Though not by much."

"She smells so good. I met her outside on the sidewalk and almost couldn't stop myself from exposing us. It's like there's fire in my veins and earth in my mouth, she makes everything go so out of control." he said nodding to her statement, knowing she meant the wolf.

"Yes, well," She started in the beginnings of a scold, halting at his last sentence. She'd see about this. She sighed, closing her eyes as she opened herself to her surroundings. Her eyes darkened behind her lids, thankful they were closed as the scents washed over, invading her. She shoved them to the back of her mind, finding and focusing the one wanted. She inhaled, bringing the smell deeper; to be processed and stored in memory. Her eyebrows furrowed, in surprise and confusion. He was right, it was..different, though it seemed not to affect her as much as it did to him. A faint stirring, but nothing that couldn't be ignored. She blinked slowly back to her vision, her widened pupils contracting to the light. The outer ring still emitted a blackened blue as she sighed, shaking her head slowly. "It's unusual; I'll give you that, but," She paused, her look of uncertainty turned into stern concern. "You know as well as I do to feed before you even think of venturing any further. I don't want or need any problems resulting from loss of control. Understood?"

Bella finished eating and threw her trash away. She walked past the table with the group of people, who were ignored by others, and out the door. She went to her car and sat there and listened to music until the bell rang.

he nodded to her, before getting up and heading out to his car. He would wait there for the next bell to ring.
